Parking
Finding parking in downtown Ottawa can be a challenge on any day of the week. What a relief to know that plenty of free parking is available for our Sunday morning visitors!
Free underground and heated parking for our Sunday visitors is available immediately south of us at 150 Elgin Street. The parking garage at 150 Elgin is accessed on the north (right-hand) side of Gloucester Street (just past the entrance to The Scone Witch). Sunday morning parking procedure at 150 Elgin: If you have parked at 150 Elgin today, please take a white HUB parking validation ticket from the back of our sanctuary.
To exit the parking lot, drive to the exit gate. insert your original parking slip into the pay machine, then insert your validation ticket upon request for payment (in other words, your FBC ticket is used as the payment method). The gate will then open.
If you have any problems, there is a call button on the machine.
Please note that the parking garage door for 150 Elgin is activated by sensors on the right side of the door. Upon arriving, your car must be within range of this sensor in order for the door to open. Contact Patti Linn at the Church Office if you have any questions about this process.
On Sunday mornings, very limited parking is also available in our church parking lot (adjacent to and immediately west of our building). We ask that this space be reserved for those with special accessibility needs.
Free parking is also available on nearby city streets.
During the week, limited parking may be found in our parking lot – please call ahead if you plan to visit to inquire if a space will be available for you. Parking is also available for a fee on nearby city streets and parking lots, at 150 Elgin, Place Bell, City Hall and the National Arts Centre.
