Use of Church Facilities for Community Purposes
First Baptist Church is available for use by community groups for a reasonable fee. Located in the heart of downtown Ottawa, we are renowned for the beauty of our sanctuary and the quality of its acoustics. The bonus of a beautiful Steinway grand piano adds to our appeal as a concert venue.
First Baptist Church has been used for such activities as:
Weddings
Community group meetings
Music and Beyond
The Ottawa Jazz Festival
Classical music recitals
Community choirs and school concerts
Rock, gospel and independent music artists such as Jimmy Rankin, Ron Sexsmith and Basia Bulat
