This weekend overnight shelter for youth was established in our lower hall in February 2013. Administered by Restoring Hope Ministries, the shelter provides up to 25 young men and women with a safe and supervised place to sleep every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 p.m. until 9 a.m. The initiative was established as a pilot project in the City Of Ottawa and received approval to continue and to expand in 2014. We hope that the project’s success will lead to more such shelters being established at other churches in the years to come. For more details on this outreach project, please visit the Restoring Hope website.
