On Friday, February 1, 2013 a weekly overnight shelter for youth was established in our lower hall. Administered by Restoring Hope, the shelter provides six young men with with a safe and supervised place to sleep from 9 p.m. each Friday night until 9 a.m. the next morning. This initiative, approved by our Board of Deacons, is a pilot project in Ottawa and we hope that its success will help more such shelters to be established at other churches in the years to come. For more details on this outreach project, please visit the Restoring Hope website.
