Commemorating our Casavant Organ – First Baptist Church will host a festive service of worship commemorating the 50th anniversary of its fine Casavant organ, on Saturday, February 4, at 7:30 p.m. The service will draw upon the order that was used 50 years ago in the service marking the installation of the organ – a service that was led by longtime minister Stuart Ivison. Hymns, readings, and prayers sung and read by FBC congregants in that service will echo through time as we celebrate 50 years of joyous music-making.

Snow Angel by Aella Choir – Aella Choir, a new women’s choir founded and directed by Jennifer Berntson (soprano section lead and children’s choir director at Fist Baptist) will be performing a wintry-themed program of music in their concert Snow Angel, February 11 at 7:30. The event will feature Shawn Potter on piano, and members of the FBC community as both singers and readers for the event. Entrance is by donation and all are welcome.

Roads Taken – A concert at FBC on Sunday, February 12 from 3 – 4 p.m. This concert will feature the music of FBC member and singer/composer Tracey Stabback. Both new and established vocal compositions will be performed by Tracey Stabback (soprano) and Sonya Sweeney (piano), with guest artists Kelly Richardson (flute), Tessa Fackelmann (mezzo-soprano), and The Bromwich Family Singers.
